How could we not be good at quick serve restaurants? Just go beyond the scoreboard and championships that you guys get to make in your community, that you are proud of, Peter. But youve not only lived the dream but also climb to the mountain and very few win a championship. I just wanted to get it done and kind of move the needle and kind of. Ive got two kids Im working as, Id say a consultant, helping to put together a business plan. And I think it was like a checkpoint for us certainly, but for the whole country on like, "Boy, this is one of those inflection points that we've got to make matter in a big way." Lasry and Feigin met some 20 years ago when Feigin's identical twin brother, Daniel, was coaching Lasry's sons Alex and Zach for an elementary school basketball team in New York City.. Peter Feigin: So, my job is pretty simple, like how do I build the trust with them? Now you win, you have the championship. And if nothing else, like we kind of, I always answer everything pretty simply. Peter Feigin: Hey, John thanks for having me. When they talk about Milwaukee, theyre like, Are you kidding me? This is the best place Ive ever been. We go from that answer where we know how important it is because the winters here suck. But I think, if you sprinkle in the effort and the care, it affects change. I became the president of the company for a number of years, and then we got absorbed by NetJets and took on that role at NetJets for a couple of years, and really learned incredibly, had this opportunity to learn P&L and operational. And we'll get to social injustice in a bit. always network, and in my chance, it really happened with my identical twin brother who was running a private school in New York, which all of Marc Lasry's and Wes Edens's kids went to. Even though you think youre such a great brand, there are a hundred things that happen in New York a day that youre one of the elements. We had a, if you remember, we had a COVID extended season. So, that part of it was awesome. How do we work together? And that's before you're worried about what a health scare is. Feigin can do all the PR he wants, but the most effective pitch to get fans into the new arena is out of his hands. Now, you had private equity partners. John: It looks amazing. The NBA is 80% of the players are African American, in such a big way. I had this tendency, which I still do, to get so excited and loud. By the way, Aaron is a fanatical basketball fan, and by the way, a regular classic Wisconsin superstar wants to come to a game, pays for his ticket wants to be left to watch the game. It became such a healthy place to be.. And that's kind of like you do it with great people around you. Above me there are my two children, my son, Tyler, my daughter, Courtney. How do you create a hermetically sealed bubble for people to compete in on a campus and all the thousands of touch points, people, logistics and everything? I think weve gravitated again with a lot of people weve brought in to engage and get it done. But kind of like would say I kind of got to play through high school college with just grit and will and really like persistence and relentlessness. It was July. Why wouldn't you embrace Michael Red to really be a reflection of our franchise in such a great way because it's kind of what the great teams and brands do around the world is we've got this unbelievable legacy, which, you're a part of. Peter: Well, I made one of the biggest mistakes ever to begin with. Whats going on with technology whats going on, even with your experience in the arena.
